DAY 00 – 01: -RAMESHWARAM
Morning You will be picked up from Madurai Airport / Railway Station / Bus Stand and then transferred to maduari to RAMESHWARAM (4 hrs) to the hotel. Check in and relax for a while. Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple Pooja and holy Bath from 22 holy well. after that Temple Darshan.Ramarpatham, Ramar Temple, Ramar Theertham, Laxmana Temple, Laxmana Theertham, Seetha Theertham, Floating stone, Krishna temple, Five face hanuman temple, Ekaintha Ramar Temple, villuindi Theertham, Kalam memorial, Pamban Bridge, Kalam house, Kothaindaramar temple, Dhanuskodi. and return to the hotel and relax. DAY 02 :KANYAKUMARI
Rameshwaram to Kanyakumari (5.0Hrs) On reaching kanyakumari Check in to hotel and later for sightseeing visiting places of interest such as The Kumari Amman Temple – the shrine of Devi Kanya Kumari. Vivekananda Rock Memorial – stands on one of two rocks located about 500 meters off the mainland. Gandhi Mandapam – built on the spot where the urn containing the Mahatma Gandhi’s ashes was kept for public viewing before immersion. Thiruvalluvar Statue – the famous poet who recited Thirukkural. Later free time and you can enjoy the spectacular sunset (subject to climatic conditions) (Overnight at hotel in Kanyakumari).
DAY 03 : KODAIKANAL
Kanyakumari to Kodaikanal (6.0Hrs) after see sunrise Breakfast at residing hotel. After breakfast, drive towards Kodaikanal – Centered on a very pretty lake, Kodai rambles up and down hillsides with patches of shola forest, unique to the Western Ghats in South India, and evergreen broadleaf trees such as magnolia, mahogany, myrtle and rhododendron. proceed for local tour of Kodaikanal covering – Bryant Park, Coaker’s walk, Pillar Rock and Suicide point. In evening, visit Kodai Lake, the man-made star shaped lake, which spreads out over sixty acres. Evening return back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 04 : MADURAI
Kodaikanal to Madurai (4.0Hrs) Breakfast at residing hotel. Check out and drive to Madurai – one of the oldest cities of South India. On arrival at Madurai check in to hotel and onward proceed for sightseeing tour visiting – the famous “Meenakshi Amman Temple” dedicated to goddess Parvati. Though it is famous by the name of goddess meenakshi, the temple is also dedicated to her consort lord Shiva as Sundareshwarar.
Continue visit to the beautiful Thirumalai Nayak palace – a 17th century marvel with beautiful architecture. Later visit ‘Thiruparankundram’ a temple dedicated to the Lord Muruga and is famous as one of the six abodes of Lord Subramaniya. Post visit return to hotel of stay.
DAY 05 : DEPARTURE FROM MADURAI
Breakfast at residing hotel and the tour ends today with a departure transfer to Madurai airport/ Railway Station for your onward journey.
