DAY 00 – 01: -RAMESHWARAM

Arrive Madurai Airport / Railway station drive to Rameshwaram (4.0Hrs) Upon arrival at Madurai, meet assistance by our executive, followed by transfer to Rameshwaram – one of the most popular pilgrim centre, also called South Varanasi of India.

In Rameshwaram visit places of interest such as – The famous Ramanathaswamy temple – main deity is lord Shiva in the form of Jyotirlinga & 22 holy wells located inside the temple. This temple takes one part in ancient Indian Epic “Ramayana” where lord Rama (one avatharam of Lord Vishnu) worshipped lord Shiva in the form of sand.

Gandhamadhana Parvatham is also known as Ramar Theertham, here lord Rama’s’ footprint on chakra for worship. Panchamuga Hanuman Temple – this temple is dedicated to lord Hanuman and the five face denotes five gods namely Hanuman, Narasimha, Adivaraha, Hayagriva and Garuda, you can see the floating stones in the outside of the temple which was used to build the bridge across the sea, from Rameshwaram to Srilanka. And then Return to the hotel and relax. Stay Hotel in Rameshwaram.

DAY 02 :MADURAI

 Rameshwaram to Madurai (4.0Hrs) Breakfast at residing hotel. Check out and drive to Madurai – one of the oldest cities of South India. On arrival at Madurai check in to hotel and onward proceed for sightseeing tour visiting – the famous “Meenakshi Amman Temple” dedicated to goddess Parvati. Though it is famous by the name of goddess meenakshi, the temple is also dedicated to her consort lord Shiva as Sundareshwarar.

Continue visit to the beautiful Thirumalai Nayak palace – a 17th century marvel with beautiful architecture. Later visit ‘Thiruparankundram’ a temple dedicated to the Lord Muruga and is famous as one of the six abodes of Lord Subramaniya. Post visit return to hotel of stay. (Overnight at hotel in Madurai)

DAY 03 : MADURAI

Departure to Madurai Breakfast at residing hotel Check out and  Shopping. The trip ends today with in time transfer to Madurai airport/railway station for your onward journey.
